So what exactly do I mean when I say FAITH-tastic?
Well I’m glad you asked. 🙂
FAITH-tastic has the unique distinction of being both the lens through which I see life and life itself. Living FAITH-tastically means living in a place where my faith just exudes from me; where I (my personality, my ambitions, etc) am hidden in Christ. The outcomes of a FAITH-tastic worldview is found in what the Bible calls the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Patience, Self Control, Faithfulness…Yes, all that.
Most of the time, FAITH-tastic observations and experiences are right in front of us. It’s just a matter of pressing in; being present enough to notice them. When we are…Voila…FAITH-tastic!
In the case of this blog segment, FAITH-tastic Fridays are more image driven. Words, narrative, story all dominate this space the rest of the week so I think it is extremely important to take a moment and “selah” visually.
Today, my daughter blesses us with our first FAITH-tastic lesson:
The Beauty and Humility found in Child-like Wonder
“Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 18:4
