Thanks everyone! And yes, Imani, you can follow the second book without reading the first. But I do recommend folks to read the first one because a big piece of information from the first book will be revealed in the second book immediately. However, I’ve found that those who have read advance copies have said that the second book also makes you WANT to get the first book. So I think it works great either way.
